Welcome to Astrology in the Cards, a new and unique tool to read astrology charts. I concentrate on Natal Charts. But if you enjoy examining other types, such as progressed, return or compatibility charts, I think you will find the cards useful for them as well.

Several years ago, I began my journey of self-discovery and awakening. I read a lot of books that broadened my horizons, searched out professional psychic mediums, doctors and scientists that have ventured into the supernatural, hired hypnotherapists doing past-life regression, acupuncturists, energy healers and… astrologers.

I was quite stumped with astrology. It rang true. But it was, frankly, quite confusing. It seemed to require a lot of knowledge that was not readily available and seemed to be quite subjective. So, I took a class. Then another. I have binders of information. Every time I read a chart for a family member or friend, I found myself flipping through pages, pulling card stock cheat sheets, and making notes to try and connect everything together. I know that over time one can remember the characteristics of a given sign, house, and planet. But how long will it take to remember everything? Too long! 

That’s when the idea hit me. I love tarot and energy decks. Why not make an astrology deck that can be laid out with the guidance of a chart? I made my own set and timidly showed it to my instructor at the end of my last class. The room erupted with exclamations from the teacher and other students. I was quite embarrassed. Several of the students asked if I would make cards for them. My instructor gave me a sideways grin and said, “I’d buy them.” 

So here we are. I have combined my love of astrology with my love of chakras (they do relate to the signs, houses, and planets), design, color, and graphics to bring you this deck.
